On October 22, 2014, Von Hansen, President and CEO of AlertSense, attended Idaho Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter’s first Governor’s Trade & Business Conference in Boise, Idaho. Nearly one thousand business leaders from throughout the state of Idaho attended the conference.
This first annual conference helped Idaho business and technology leaders better understand how to navigate global risk and take advantage of overseas opportunities. In addition, attendees learned new ways to innovate, compete, and grow jobs in an increasingly global environment.
Keynote speakers included such business and government dignitaries as Idaho Governor Butch Otter; Mitt Romney, the 2012 Republican candidate for the President of the United States; Meg Whitman, the Chairman, President and CEO of Hewlett-Packard Company; and renowned economist and author Todd Buchholz.
“I am very pleased to have been able to attend this historic conference,” said Von Hansen, President and CEO of AlertSense. “I found all speakers comments very helpful and insightful.”
Besides listening to the dynamic speakers, “the conference also gave me an opportunity to interact and exchange ideas with other Idaho business and technology leaders,” added Hansen. “I look forward to sharing and implementing the innovative ideas with the employees of AlertSense.”
