With the AlertSense IPAWS solution, your entity can issue critical, geographically based, public alerts and warnings through IPAWS OPEN accessible to FEMA authorized COGs (Collaborative Operating Groups). Public safety alerts, such as warning citizens of fire, hazardous materials, need for immediate evacuation or of a child abduction, civil danger or local area emergency, can be dispersed to a targeted geographic area through four IPAWS emergency alerting channels.
Alert the Public through Federal Warning Systems
- Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) Send text alerts to all cell phones in the impact area
- Emergency Alert System (EAS): Broadcast alerts on TV/Radio with audio and scrolling text
- NWEM/HazCollect: Send non-weather emergency alerts to the weather radio network
- COG-to-COG: Critical information exchange with other COGS (Collaborative Operating Groups)
The intuitive AlertSense interface enables entities to rapidly warn citizens and information exchange partners. AlertSense tailors itself to the organization's IPAWS permission set, provides pre-built scenario templates and enables the alert writer to build IPAWS compatible alert content for any combination of dissemination channels within a single alert message.
